Hal Le

Hal Le is an international sophomore at Denison University majoring in Biology and neuroscience concentration. She plans to go to graduate school and become a professor. She loves reading and doing aromatherapy as well as studying Spanish. She believes that science should be accessible to everyone and hopes to bring this vision to The Synapse.

Catherine Kim

Catherine is a Biology major pursuing a philosophy minor alongside a neuroscience concentration. She is on the Pre medicine track hoping to go to med school and become a pediatric surgeon! In my free time, she enjoys running, listening to music, and sleeping! Her favorite artists are Lana Del Rey, The Marias, and Dominic Fike.

Emma is a third year at Denison University studying biology on the pre-med track. She hopes to pursue medical school in the future to become a physician. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, hanging out with friends, and playing the ukulele!

Megan Carlson

Megan Carlson

Megan is a senior from Orange County, California, majoring in biology and psychology with a neuroscience concentration at Denison University. After Denison, she hopes to further her education in pharmaceutical sciences. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, hiking, reading, and working at a restaurant in town.

 Haimanot Assefa

Haimanot Assefa

Haimanot is a senior at Denison University studying global health and biology. After she graduates, she wants to pursue a Master's in Public Health and eventually apply to medical school. In her free time, Haimanot likes gardening, listening to music, watching One Piece, or going to the gym. She aims to grow The Synapse's presence at Denison before she graduates.
